ADDICTION SCREENING OF RAGPICKERS IN GOVANDI

On 27th February 2025, Dr. Mauni Nagda Bhalke was part of the team from the De-addiction Treatment Centre of KEM Hospital, Parel, Mumbai, that conducted a substance use disorder screening camp for the ragpickers’ community at Rafiqnagar, Govandi, in collaboration with Stree Shakti Sangathan NGO.













Workshop on Hygiene and Exercise with Children
Kutch, Gujarat
Harmony Mind Clinic conducted an engaging workshop with children in a village in Kutch, Gujarat, focusing on basic hygiene and the importance of exercise. Through interactive sessions, we educated them on essential hygiene practices and how regular physical activity contributes to overall well-being. This initiative aimed to promote healthy habits from a young age, empowering children with knowledge to lead healthier lives.
Exam Readiness Session for 10th Standard Students
Mumbai, Maharashtra
Harmony Mind Clinic conducted a special session for 10th standard students of a Municipal Corporation School to help them prepare for their ICSE Board Exams. The session focused on practical tips and strategies to manage stress, improve concentration, and stay mentally resilient during the exam period. Through interactive discussions, students learned effective ways to stay calm, focused, and confident as they approach their final exams.
Service in Rural and Tribal Communities
Gadchiroli, Maharashtra
Dr. Mauni Nagda Bhalke and Dr. Sagar Bhalke completed their undergraduate MBBS bond service in the tribal-rural areas of Gadchiroli, Maharashtra (Central India). They worked with Padmashree Dr. Abhay Bang and Dr. Rani Bang in both the hospital and research departments of SEARCH.

On No Tobacco Day, Dr Mauni Nagda was a part of a team of Department of Psychiatry Deaddiction Centre from KEM HOSPITAL, MUMBAI for improved mental and physical wellbeing. Standing together, we believe in a healthier tomorrow, encouraging people to overcome addiction and live wellness-focused lives by conscious living and community support.

We were proud to participate in the Mental Health Awareness Program at St Paul’s Boys High School, by Dr Mauni Nagda was a part of the Say No To Drugs campaign for adolescents of St Paul’s High School, Parel. She created awareness, educated them about the consequences of drug use and gave tips to avoid peer pressure.
Through awareness, education, and compassionate care, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health and empower people to seek help, build healthier habits, and live fulfilling lives.







Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Dr Mauni interacted with 3rd year MBBS students and took a pledge for the drug free India campaign.
As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign), Dr. Mauni conducted an engaging and impactful session with 3rd year MBBS students, emphasizing the critical role of future healthcare professionals in combating substance abuse and promoting a healthier society.
During the interaction, Dr. Mauni highlighted the growing challenges of drug addiction in India and the importance of awareness, early intervention, and community involvement.

It was inspiring to see mental health being given its well-deserved space, even in the lives of those who stand strong behind our protectors at sea. 🌊💙
